Farrakhan: Jews Are Pushing The US Into War

The Jerusalem Post

By LAHAV HARKOV

03/02/2011 10:10

Nation of Islam leader Louis Farrakhan said Jews and Zionists are “trying to push the US into war” and are a cover for Satan, at the group’s annual meeting near Chicago on Tuesday.

“President Obama,” Farrakhan said, “if you allow the Zionists to push you, to mount a military offensive against Gaddafi and you go in and kill him and his sons as you did with Saddam Hussein and his sons, I’m warning you this is a Libyan problem, let the Libyans solve their problem among themselves.” Farrakhan called Muammar Gaddafi “my brother” and “my friend.”

He also accused American Zionists of attempting to push Israel into war with Iran, adding that “Zionists dominate the government of the United States of America and her banking system.”

One panel at the conference, titled “The Secret Relationship Between Blacks and Jews,” claimed that Jews were disproportionately involved in the slave trade and accused them of controlling the media.

“Some of you think that I’m just somebody who’s got something out for the Jewish people,” Farrakhan said. “You’re stupid. Do you think I would waste my time if I did not think it was important for you to know Satan? My job is to pull the cover off of Satan so that he will never deceive you and the people of the world again.”

In response, ADL National Director Abe Foxman said: “Anti-Semitism has suffused the Nation of Islam’s message, and Farrakhan is the standard bearer and bigot in chief….Perhaps what’s more disturbing is that despite his anti-Semitic rants, he has not been made a pariah in his own community. What does it take for him to stop being a pied piper of hatred?”

Hating Jews: It’s Becoming the Norm – Are we headed for another Holocaust?

Posted on July 7, 2010. Filed under: Israel, Obama, Politics, Religion |

Why is all this hatred allowed???? Jews should be afraid and those who allow all this hatred of Jews should be very ashamed!! We have GOT to stand up against this. We can’t let it happen again!!!!

Hating Jews

Nancy Morgan

RightBias.com/July 6, 2010

Last month, students at a Southern California high school were caught playing a late-night on-campus game of tag called “Beat the Jew.” On the popular social networking site Facebook, a user named Alex Cookson launched an open invitation to an event called “Kill a Jew Day.” It was the fourth time that a call to murder Jews had been put on Facebook within recent days.

In D.C., White House press doyen Helen Thomas was captured on tape nonchalantly opining that all Jews should go back to Germany. Implicit in her statement was her assumption that everyone felt the same way, so what’s the big deal?

Also last month: Egypt decided to revoke the citizenship of any Egyptians married to Israelis. In Amsterdam, anti-Semitism has become so commonplace that Dutch police are now using “decoy Jews” in an effort to to cut the number of verbal and physical attacks on Jews, amid fears that anti-Semitic “hate crime” is on the rise. And in Germany, a Jewish dance group was attacked with stones by a group of children and teenagers during a performance at a street festival in Hannover. The teenagers also used a megaphone to shout anti-Semitic slurs.

European Jewish Congress President Moshe Kantor last week gave a bleak evaluation of European Jewry. “Jews are afraid to walk the streets in Europe with Jewish symbols,” Kantor said. “Synagogues, Jewish schools and kindergartens require barbed-wire fences and security, and Jewish men, women and children are beaten up in broad daylight.”

Jews worldwide are again under attack. The Holocaust and 6 million slaughtered Jews have been forgotten. It now appears that history is on the way to repeating itself, aided and abetted by the world press.

During the much publicized clash between supposed peace activists and Israeli soldiers last month, Israel was roundly condemned when forced to board a ship that was trying to break Israel’s blockade of Gaza under the guise of delivering “humanitarian aid” to Palestinians. Reuters was caught, once again, photo shopping a knife out of the hand of a supposed “peace activist” in a blatant attempt to portray Israel as the aggressor.

The London Telegraph was also caught using a two-year-old photo in its quest to portray Palestinians as victims. It was a photo that was purposefully misleading, as is shown here.

When Israel withdrew from Gaza in 2005, Hamas launched 6,500 unprovoked rocket strikes on towns and schoolyards in Israel. The Israeli blockade of Gaza was a necessary self-defense measure to keep these rockets from reaching Gaza. But world opinion as expressed in the media, sees it differently. Palestinians are the victims and Israel should atone. Period.

The communications firm best known for shaping the liberal Moveon.org into a national movement has tackled a new project: orchestrating an international anti-Israel campaign. And it appears to be working.

Even Israel’s good friend, the United States, is throwing it under the bus. According to Israel’s ambassador to Washington, relations between Israel and its staunchest ally, the U.S., have suffered a “tectonic rift.”

Under President Barack Obama, the United States no longer provides Israel with automatic support at the United Nations where the Jewish state faces a constant barrage of criticism and condemnation. American sentiment now increasingly favors the supposed Palestinian “victims.”

As Thomas Sowell says, “Just as the American left has adopted blacks as mascots, so the international left has adopted Palestinians as mascots. In both cases, the actual well-being of the mascots is not the point. Mascots exist to be symbols for others. I n all the years when the Arab states controlled the area that Israel took over after the 1967 war, nobody cared what happened to the Palestinians, much less offered them a homeland.”

If you are one of the unsuspecting Americans who have bought into the “Palestinians as victims” hoax, I urge you, in the interest of fairness, to watch this short video. It is a must-see history lesson from David Horowitz, laying out the true history of Palestine. The facts are incontrovertible.

No matter how thin the pancake, there are always two sides. If we allow the terrorists’ propaganda machine and the world press to continue presenting a false version of Israel and Palestine, it is possible that history could indeed, repeat itself. And we will become allies with murderous Islamic terrorists whose sole goal is to wipe Israel off the face of the earth.

Anti-Semitism: Helen Thomas’ Words, Barack Obama’s Policy

Posted on June 5, 2010. Filed under: Israel, Liberal Idiots, Obama, Politics |

Helen Thomas is a vile, bitter woman and I wish the MSM was honest enough to call her on her anti-Semitic comments. I also wish people would realize how anti-Israel Obama is.

Helen Thomas’ words, Barack Obama’s policy

by Kevin McCullough

Most Americans are outraged at Helen Thomas’ culturally and ethnically based anti-semitic biases, said with seemingly complete sobriety and coherence this past week to a rolling video camera. But if Americans are honest, they would have to admit that the current administration’s policies, positions, and preferences towards Israel come scarily close to agreement with the disgraced columnist for Hearst newspapers.

This is particularly so in recent weeks.

It is one thing for a journalist with ethnic origins from the middle east to advocate over and over again across many administrations for the elimination of the Israeli state. It is another matter altogether for the first President in perhaps two generations to make the case that Israel should be left defenseless, so as to allow her enemies eliminate her.

One is nothing more dangerous than rhetoric that only weak-minded people would absorb. The other is a dangerous position towards one of America’s most important allies, in one of the most dangerous neighborhoods on the globe.

One makes a statement to a camera, knowing and understanding that what she is saying is being recorded, and will likely be revealed. The other has been running anti-Israeli subterfuge for the entirety of his time in office, and while intending to keep his bad behavior from coming to light, was unable to prevent things like making Israel’s elected Prime Minister wait for hours unattended in a White House meeting room.

Helen Thomas has often held, and even on occasion been cited spouting the view of terrorist groups, specifically Hezbollah, a group that has been and is currently still on America’s terror watch list. Barack Obama has at every opportunity expressed dissatisfaction on Israel’s domestic policy, even wishing to tell them where they may or may not build homes. He has done this while mostly ignoring terror threats from other noted terror states who have never relented from their promise to wipe Israel off the map.

Helen Thomas regularly and dishonestly made up facts to support her questions that were more statement of opinion concluded with question marks. Barack Obama demands answers of Israel on moves they make to prevent groups from shipping dangerous weapons across open waters directly into Gaza and thus giving the terrorists ability to aim and fire on Israeli towns.

President Obama condemns the lack of international alert to Israel’s right to board hostile vessels in waters off their shore. Helen Thomas condemned the right of Israel to shoot back at terrorists who were lobbing missiles into their territory from Lebanon (her nation of origin).

Both have been largely silent on the disgusting video display of the animals attacking Israeli Defense Forces, brutalizing them with clubs, sections of pipe, and knives.

Both have also been silent on the administration’s position on a United Nation’s resolution that was passed late on a Friday afternoon (thus avoiding much media scrutiny) in which for the first time ever, the American administration took the anti-American view siding against Israel and calling for the tiny nation to eliminate their nuclear weapons.

Weapons that have kept the peace in the middle east for several decades, never once having been fired.

President Obama has treated Prime Minister Netanyahu appallingly. Multiple times. His efforts to handcuff the most significant ally we have in the region have caused the Israelis to realize that we might not be their best friend these days. His constant suspicious judgement of those who are on our side has perhaps helped them understand that they may need to be more vigilant, understanding they may have to go the fight for freedom alone.

Yes, after the immediate aftermath of the flotilla attacks, the administration put on a strict “we support Israel,” letter of the law face of support.

But the President’s heart was not in it then, and his distrust of Israel is notable even now.

Both believe it, but Helen Thomas said it, and President Barack Obama is attempting to legislate it.

Crazy Aunt Helen should be put out to pasture for an extended absence from the media stage.

But I’m of equal opinion that President Obama should have his agenda sent to the same place. Alienating allies is not the part of “Hope and Change” that the America voted for.

And if he needs to have it proven to him… well…

November is closing fast.

Mainstream Media’s “Flotilla” Fraud

Posted on June 3, 2010. Filed under: Israel, Media Bias, Terrorism |

We need to stand with Israel!!! I am so sick of the world treating terrorists with respect and then turning their backs on Israel. The MSM just keeps lying and lying and lying…

Mainstream Media’s “Flotilla” Fraud

by Joel Mowbray

While the diplomatic fallout from the botched raid on the Gaza-bound flotilla this week will not be known for some time, the mainstream media already has suffered a serious blow to its credibility. As the mainstream media told the story, a freedom-loving band of peace activists were stormed by armed Israeli commandos, resulting in the deaths of at least nine passengers.

What this narrative ignores, however, is the nature of the organizers and the mission itself. The people behind the so-called “Freedom Flotilla” have a long history with terrorists, including al Qaeda. One of the primary sponsors, the Turkish IHH, were identified by the CIA as far back as 1996 as a terrorist-tied entity with links to Iran, and French magistrate Jean-Louis Brougiere testified that IHH played an “important role” in the failed “millennium plot” in the U.S. in late 1999.

Also missing from the mainstream media coverage was that supplies from the flotilla could have been transported from an Israeli port by truck, after inspection, but that offer was flatly rejected. The reasoning was transparent, considering that flotilla spokeswoman Greta Berlin announced last week to the Agence France Press, “This mission is not about delivering humanitarian supplies, it’s about breaking Israel’s siege.”

Most tellingly, flotilla passengers were seen on Al-Jazeera last week chanting, “Khyber, Khyber,” a favorite chant of jihadists because it recalls a battle where Mohammed’s army is said to have killed large numbers of Jews.

Had the mainstream media been truly brave, outlets could have given full context, namely that the blockade of Gaza targets the Hamas government and is a joint enterprise of both Israel and Egypt.

There is no “humanitarian crisis,” as claimed by the flotilla’s propaganda, given that approximately 100 aid trucks enter Gaza every day. “Throughout the last few months,” according to the Israel Defense Forces website, “More than 1,200 tons of medicine and medical equipment, 155 tons of food, 2,900 tons of shoes and clothing and 17 million liters of diesel fuel were transferred in to the Gaza Strip.”

The “crisis” that is brewing in Gaza is Hamas’ failing political status. Worsening economic conditions—a direct result of the Israeli-Egyptian blockade—have seriously undermined Hamas’ standing. Media reports out of Gaza in recent months indicate that Hamas can’t meet its government payroll, and ordinary Gazans are on edge.

But not surprisingly, few of these facts found their way into the mainstream media’s coverage.

In a report that could well have been written by the flotilla organizers themselves, the Associated Press wrote of the “violent takeover” and “bloody predawn confrontation” that was “yet another blow to Israel’s international image, already tarnished by war crimes accusations in Gaza and its 3-year-old blockade of the impoverished Palestinian territory.”

Not until the fifth paragraph does the AP even mention that the “impoverished Palestinian territory” is controlled by the “militant Hamas group.”

At least the AP acknowledged that the blockade is not a solo Israeli effort, but rather something the Jewish state has done in conjunction with its Arab neighbor Egypt. The Washington Post yesterday referred to various governments who have “demanded that Israel end its Gaza blockade.” Even though Egypt was mentioned in the story, the Post reporter neglected to note that the Arab state had been a full partner in targeting Hamas with the blockade.

Not to be outdone by others in the mainstream media, though, the New York Times spent considerable time on its website comparing the terrorist-tied angry mob that ambushed and attacked Israeli soldiers to the Holocaust survivors on the Exodus 1947 ship, who were seeking refuge in the Holy Land.

As biased as the media coverage has been, however, it is clear that Israel contributed to the advancement of the flotilla organizers’ propaganda.

No other nation wears a target on its back the way the Jewish state does. Israeli officials know their every action will be scrutinized and dissected under the media microscope, which makes their failure to plan for angry mobs greeting their soldiers as they boarded the boat simply mystifying. Even most Israelis believe that the situation should have been handled differently.

Israel’s inability to deal effectively with a double standard, however, does not excuse the existence of that double standard.

Much like the narrative of Israel’s “peace-loving” enemies, the story of the mainstream media’s downfall is pretty straightforward. As the news titans have continued to disregard the truth, the general public has likewise decided to disregard them.

We face international hypocrisy’

By JPOST.COM STAFF

06/03/20

“This was not a ‘Love Boat’, it was a hate boat.”

“Israel won’t apologize for defending itself,” Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu said Wednesday night, as he urged the international community to stop condemning the IDF for its Monday raid on the Gaza-bound flotilla.

He spoke both in Hebrew and then in English at a special press conference in his office, called to address the wave of harsh international criticism against the raid, in which nine people were killed.

“Once again Israel faces hypocrisy and a biased rush to judgment,” Netanyahu said.

In his conversations with international world leaders, Netanyahu said, he had asked them a basic question.

“What would you do? How would your soldiers behave in similar circumstances? In your heart, you all know the truth,” said Netanyahu.

“This might sound like an impossible plea, request or demand,” he continued, adding, “Israel should not be held to a double standard. The Jewish state has a right to defend itself like any other state.”

If ships were allowed to sail to Gaza without inspection as flotilla organizers have demanded, nothing could stop Iran from sending high-level weapons to Hamas in Gaza, said Netanyahu.

Already, he said, Hamas has missiles that can hit major Israeli cities such as Ashkelon, Beersheba and even Tel Aviv. Very soon, their missiles will also be able to reach the outskirts of Jerusalem.

“Israel can not permit Iran to develop a Mediterranean port a few dozen kilometers from Tel Aviv,” said Netanyahu. He added that missiles could also be launched from there toward Europe.

“The same countries that are criticizing us today should know that they will be targeted tomorrow,” he said.

Under international law, Israel had every right to intercept the ship, he said.

When it did so, he added, those on board viciously attacked the soldiers with knives and rods and in some cases they fired guns.

On the tape it is possible to hear them chanting “battle cries against the Jews,” said the prime minister. He said he regretted the loss of life, but that the soldiers had had a right to defend themselves and their country.

“This was not a love boat, this was a hate boat. These were not peace activists, there were supporters of terrorism,” he said.

Videotapes of the raid reflect these details, but for “many in the international community, no evidence is needed. Israel is guilty until it is proven guilty. Israel is told it has a right to defend itself, but it is condemned every time it exercises that right,” said Netanyahu.

Netanyahu did not address the calls by the international community for an independent investigation into the incident, but government sources have said that Israel has no intention of complying with that demand.

An Open Letter to American Jews – Why Do You Continue to Support Democrats?

Posted on May 2, 2010. Filed under: General, Israel, Politics |

Very good letter.

An Open Letter to American Jews

by Ben Shapiro

Dear American Jews,

I write to you as a charter member of the tribe. I’m not only Jewish, I’m religious. I’m married to an Israeli girl (she’ll receive her citizenship next year and she is a proud soon-to-be American). I go to synagogue regularly, keep kosher, keep the Sabbath.

American Jews, I have one request of you: please pull your heads out of your posteriors.

I mean that in all sincerity. Your continued support for Democrats and an administration that is openly anti-Semitic is a disgrace. Your embrace of a party that seeks to hamstring Israel in the name of a wholly fictitious Middle East peace process is contemptible. Your loyalty to a president who consistently sides with Palestinian and Iranian mass murder-supporters is disgusting.

Your backing of a man who has spent his life surrounding himself with the worst anti-Semites America has to offer — Jeremiah Wright, Rashid Khalidi (former Palestinian terrorist spokesman), Louis Farrakhan (“I don’t like the way [Jews] leech on us”), Samantha Power, Robert Malley, to name a few — is nothing short of reprehensible. Rahm Emanuel’s presence in the Obama cabinet doesn’t ameliorate Obama’s anti-Semitism — it just provides it convenient cover. Al Sharpton wrongly called Condoleezza Rice and Colin Powell “house negroes”; Emanuel is a kapo.

Even as you continue to buttress a president who seeks the destruction of your co-religionists, you demonstrate your myopia by rejecting the tea party movement and evangelical Christian Israel-supporters.

The tea party movement is your ally for three important reasons. First, it supports capitalism against the forces of socialism — and capitalism keeps America strong enough to provide Israel with a hand against its evil adversaries. Second, American Jews are, by far, the highest-earning religious group in the United States — the tea party fights for your right to keep your money. Third, the tea party stands against government overreach — and in an era when government overreach promotes anti-religious secularism, Jews must stand with the tea party.

Your rejection of evangelical Christians is even more idiotic. Evangelical Christians are the only major voting bloc preventing President Obama from breaking ties with Israel. When Janet Porter, an evangelical Florida talk show host, heard about Obama’s anti-Israel tyranny, she responded by asking her listeners to buy dozens of yellow roses to send to Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s office as a show of support. The price per dozen: $19.48, in honor of the year of Israel’s founding (1948). Over 14,000 flowers were delivered. Meanwhile, Adm. James Jones, Obama’s national security adviser and the man who brought Jew-hater Zbigniew Brzezinski into Obama’s inner circle, was busy telling anti-Semitic jokes before the Washington Institute for Near East Policy.

“But they want to convert us!” many American Jews shout. Not all Christians do. But for the rest — so what? Would you sacrifice the support of millions of good-hearted Christians because they want to discuss Jesus with you? If your own belief system is so fragile, the weakness is yours, not theirs. While you expend energy whining about Jehovah’s Witnesses who show up at your door with a Bible, Obama supports radical Muslims who would show up at your door with a gun — or, as in the case of Daniel Pearl, a butcher’s knife.

Now, I understand, American Jews, that most of you don’t care about Israel.

I understand that you’re more concerned about a woman’s unconditional right to abort her unborn child (which Judaism rejects) than you are about Israel. Fine. Understand that you have removed yourself from the vast river of Jewish history in favor of a chimerical morality that values libertinism over liberty.

I understand that many of you — all of you above age 70 — still think FDR is alive. He isn’t, but Jimmy Carter is.

I understand that some of you still think that conservatives and Republicans are the same folks they were during the 1950s, when they banned you from country clubs. They aren’t.

The simple fact is this: There is only one mainstream political ideology in this country that asks you to check your principles and cultural history at the door in the name of the greater good — leftism, the same ideology that virtually exterminated Judaism in Russia and Europe. While the left exploits your adherence to bagel-and-lox Judaism by appealing to your watered-down and perverted “tikkun olam” sensibilities, you are enabling your own destruction. The same people who urge you to reach out to terrorists will be the first to sacrifice you to those terrorists’ tender mercies. The same people who urge you to worry about same-sex marriage rather than religious freedom will be the first to take your religious freedoms away.

I love you, my brothers and sisters. That’s why I’m writing to you. Time is running out; the clock is winding down. Pick a side.

Dem Ed Koch Slams Prez for ‘Outrageous’ Treatment of Israel

I don’t understand Christians who support Obama when he is so hostile to Israel.

Dem slams prez for ‘outrageous’ treatment of Israel

Former New York City mayor: ‘I’m almost off Obama train’

Posted: April 11, 2010

© 2010 WorldNetDaily

Former New York Mayor Ed Koch, a Democrat who campaigned for President Obama in 2008, slammed the U.S. leader’s recent treatment of Israel as “outrageous” and “hostile,” declaring he is “close” to “getting off the Obama train.”

Koch’s sentiments are significant. The former politician has long been an indicator of American Jewish sentiment regarding U.S. presidents and Israel. His statements may serve as a signal that some American Jews are moving away from the Obama administration.

Koch was speaking in a radio interview with WND senior reporter Aaron Klein, who hosts an investigative program on New York’s WABC 770 AM.

The former mayor took issue with the Obama administration’s diplomatic row with Israel last month after a Jerusalem municipality announced the construction of 1,600 new homes in the neighborhood of Ramat Shlomo, an already existing Jewish community in Jerusalem.

That announcement came during a visit to the region by Vice President Joe Biden, resulting in the White House calling the new construction an “insult” and an impediment to Israeli-Palestinian peace. A subsequent visit to the White House by Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu was described in media reports as tense.

“I think it’s outrageous what he has done,” stated Koch, referring to Obama, who Koch said has called for Jews not to “build apartments anywhere they want to and can afford to in their own land in Jerusalem.”

“It’s clear that Netanyahu was treated so terribly at the White House,” he said. “It is just rude what they did to him. … I am extremely distressed with the attitude that the president has shown Israel. I consider it to be hostility.”

“I am really terrified at what is happening and I would urge Jews and Christians who support Israel to stand up and speak out,” Koch added. “We must never again go back to the ’30s, when Jews were afraid to speak out here in the United States because they would be treated as disloyal, unpatriotic, duel loyalty and they deserted,” Koch told Klein.

“We should insist that (Obama) treat our ally as an ally, that he not throw Israel under the bus,” he said.

Koch, who campaigned for Obama in Florida during the 2008 election, said he was “amazed that the members of Congress who normally say wonderful things about the support of Israel, they have not spoken out in denunciation in what has occurred to date under the Obama administration.”

The former mayor also took issue with Obama’s policy of dialogue and seeking sanctions against Iran.

“The fact is U.S. on that issue has lost its nerve and has accepted the fact that North Korea and Iran will have a nuclear bomb. North Korea already does. All this talk about sanctions is baloney,” he said.

When asked if he is deserting Obama, Koch declared, “I am not yet off the train, but, let me tell you, I am close to it.”

He added, “I’m a good Democrat and believe in the Democrat program, domestically certainly.”

Indicator of Jewish American support

Koch’s attitude has long been a good indicator of greater Jewish American sentiment toward U.S. politicians.

In 1980 Koch, although himself a prominent Democrat, defied the Democratic administration of Jimmy Carter and strongly denounced Carter’s policies toward Israel. This foreshadowed the unprecedented shift of Jewish voters that November; with about sixty percent of Jews deserting Carter: 40 percent went to Reagan, and 20 percent to John Anderson.

Koch’s endorsement of George W. Bush in 2004, as a gesture of support for the U.S. war against Islamic terror and Bush’s pro-Israel policies, was likewise indicative of the growing grassroots Jewish support for the Bush administration.

Obama’s Anti-Israel Behavior: Snubbed Netanyahu

Obama snubbed Netanyahu for dinner with Michelle and the girls, Israelis claim

By Adrian Blomfield in Jerusalem

25 Mar 2010

Telegraph.co.uk

Excerpt:

Benjamin Netanyahu was left to stew in a White House meeting room for over an hour after President Barack Obama abruptly walked out of tense talks to have supper with his family, it emerged on Thursday.

The snub marked a fresh low in US-Israeli relations and appeared designed to show Mr Netanyahu how low his stock had fallen in Washington after he refused to back down in a row over Jewish construction in east Jerusalem.

The Israeli prime minister arrived at the White House on Tuesday evening brimming with confidence that the worst of the crisis in his country’s relationship with the United States was over.

Over the previous two days, he had been feted by senior Republicans and greeted warmly by members of Congress. He had also received a standing ovation from the American Israel Public Affairs Affairs Committee, one of the most influential lobby groups in the United States.

But Mr Obama was less inclined to be so conciliatory. He immediately presented Mr Netanyahu with a list of 13 demands designed both to the end the feud with his administration and to build Palestinian confidence ahead of the resumption of peace talks. Key among those demands was a previously-made call to halt all new settlement construction in east Jerusalem.

When the Israeli prime minister stalled, Mr Obama rose from his seat declaring: “I’m going to the residential wing to have dinner with Michelle and the girls.”

As he left, Mr Netanyahu was told to consider the error of his ways. “I’m still around,” Mr Obama is quoted by Israel’s Yediot Ahronot newspaper as having said. “Let me know if there is anything new.”

For over an hour, Mr Netanyahu and his aides closeted themselves in the Roosevelt Room on the first floor of the White House to map out a response to the president’s demands.

Although the two men then met again, at 8.20 pm, for a brief second meeting, it appeared that they failed to break the impasse. White House officials were quoted as saying that disagreements remained. Shimon Peres, the Israeli president, added: “Apparently they did not reach an understanding with the United States.”

It was the second time this month that Mr Netanyahu has been at the receiving end of a US dinner-time snub.

A fortnight ago, Joe Biden the US vice president, arrived 90 minutes late for a dinner Mr Netanyahu hosted in Jerusalem after Israel announced plans to build 1,600 new homes in Ramat Shlomo, a Jewish settlement in the city’s predominantly Arab east.

Erupting in fury, the United States described the decision to expand Ramat Shlomo as an “insult” that undermined Mr Biden’s peace making efforts and demanded that it be reversed. Palestinians see east Jerusalem, captured by Israel during the 1967 Six Day War, as their future capital and regard any Jewish building there as a barrier to a peace settlement.

Mr Obama’s mood further soured in the minutes before his meeting with Mr Netanyahu after it emerged that approval had been given for an even more contentious Jewish building project in the heart of one of east Jerusalem’s Palestinian suburbs.

Sending a clear message of his displeasure, Mr Obama treated his guest to a series of slights. Photographs of the meeting were forbidden and an Israeli request to issue a joint-statement once it was over were turned down.

“There is no humiliation exercise that the Americans did not try on the prime minister and his entourage,” Israel’s Maariv newspaper reported. “Bibi received in the White House the treatment reserved for the president of Equatorial Guinea.”

It is not the first time that Mr Netanyahu has been involved in a dinner-time snub, although he is arguably more used to delivering, rather than receiving, them.

In 1998, during his first term as Israeli prime minister, Mr Netanyahy angrily cancelled a dinner he was due to give with the then Foreign Secretary, Robin Cook.

Mr Cook had earned his host’s ire after he briefly visited a new Jewish settlement in east Jerusalem with a Palestinian official and called for an end to all settlement construction in the parts of the city Israel occupied after the Six-Day war.

The Evangelical Left’s Anti-Israel Slant

Posted on February 23, 2010. Filed under: Israel, Liberal Idiots, Religion |

I just don’t get this at all!! I have never cared for Brian McLaren and I care for him even less now!! His anti-Israel stand is very disturbing!

The evangelical left’s anti-Israel slant

Chad Groening – OneNewsNow – 2/1/2010

The head of a Protestant renewal organization is calling out a prominent member of the so-called “evangelical left” for leading a delegation on an anti-Israel pilgrimage.

Brian McLaren is the founding pastor of the Cedar Ridge Community Church in the Baltimore area, which is part of the “Emergent Church” movement. He recently led a delegation through Israel and the West Bank decrying alleged pro-Israel partiality.

Mark Tooley, president of The Institute on Religion & Democracy (IRD), says McLaren’s positions are clearly anti-Israel. He says that according to McLaren, the Jewish nation is “a western imperialist power that is oppressing the Palestinians — who are, in contrast, an impoverished Third World victim…suffering because of American economic and military support for Israel.”

In addition, says Tooley, McLaren believes in a moral equivalency between Israel defending itself and Palestinians launching terrorist attacks.

“For example, Brian McLaren — like many on the evangelical left — gives a great deal of attention to Israel’s security fence, which of course has been largely successful in keeping suicide bombers from infiltrating Israel,” says the IRD president. “But as McLaren and others on the evangelical left portray it, it’s a tragic and terrible symbol that is inflicting untold suffering on the Palestinians.”

In a recent blog, McLaren described that security fence as a “segregation wall.”

Tooley says McLaren and his ilk do not favor a two-state solution, but rather a one-state solution that dissolves the Jewish state of Israel and replaces it with one where Muslims are in the majority.

Wikipedia’s Garbage: “Farah is a ‘twit, Jew-loving pig”

Posted on January 6, 2010. Filed under: Israel, Liberal Idiots, Media Bias, Reverse Discrimination |

Here’s what you get from Wikipedia – a biased, liberal, hateful view of anything or anyone conservative. Please don’t waste your time thinking you’ll get accurate info from them. They are intolerant liberals, just like Google!

Top encyclopedia: Farah is a ‘twit, Jew-loving pig’

‘Also enjoys chowing down on babies once in a while’

In the latest of a years-long Wikipedia campaign of hurling smears at WND’s founder, Joseph Farah was characterized as a “Zionist Twit and Jew Loving Pig” on the site that claims to be an online encyclopedia.

The entry appeared on the WorldNetDaily profile page, which was later changed.

Farah said the anti-Semitic attack is just the most recent in a long series of libelous and defamatory statements about him and his company that have been published by Wikipedia over the last five years.

• On Dec. 29, 2009, Farah’s profile began with: “Joseph Farah is an American author, journalist and editor-in-chief of the conservative website WorldNetDaily (WND). He is a known [expletive] sucker.”

• A Dec. 12, 2009, Wikipedia entry read, “WorldNetDaily is an [sic] far-right American online web site that publishes editorials from a Christian conservative and pro-white point of view.”

• On Nov. 16, 2009, Farah’s Wikipedia profile stated: “It is a widely known rumour [sic] that Mr. Farah is a closet homosexual and has been repeatedly criticized for his hypocrisy.”

• On Oct. 10, 2009, WND was dubbed “an American independent article and editorial based online tabloid that publishes from a radical right wing point of view.”

On Sept. 6, 2009, Wikipedia described WND as this: “WorldNetDaily is a terrorist news- and editorial-based publishing news and opinion from a Republican or conservative point of view. Founded in May 1997 with the unstated intentions of devoting 70% coverage to portraying Islam as Anti-Christ to fulfil [sic] the armaagedon [sic] and rapture fantasies that most of its founders carry, and with the stated intentions of “exposing wrongdoing, corruption and abuse of power.”

Wikipedia’s profile page for Farah has dubbed him “homophobic,” a “conspiracy theorist,” “white supremacist,” a “proud member of the Ku Klux Klan,” a “religious nutcase” and “a pioneer in the political uses of psychedelics.”

“He also enjoys chowing down on babies once in a while,” stated one Aug. 7, 2008, entry.

“He is also an Arab self-hating, Zionist-supported d—–bag whose slanderous drivel isn’t worth considering,” said an April 2, 2007, edit to Farah’s biography. “Down with WorldNetDaily.”

Yet another person referenced the Obama eligibility issue in Farah’s career profile, writing, “You are a plague, Farah, a giant wedgie in the slacks of America. You have no business being in media and should disappear from public life. Do you think your legacy will be a proud one? You will be recorded as a fringe provocateur, someone laughed at, someone jokes are built around for historians.”

Last year, Wikipedia introduced Farah like this: “Joseph Francis Farah is an Evangelical Christian American journalist and noted homosexual of Lebanese and Syrian heritage.” There have been dozens of explicit homosexual statements and accusations made in his profile since.

“Previously, the volunteer ‘editors’ at Wikipedia claimed publicly I had an affair with a prominent female syndicated columnist,” Farah said. “Then they characterize me as a ‘noted homosexual.’ Neither one of these accusations has any basis in truth, of course. But truth and accuracy have never been the standard at Wikipedia – at least when it comes to WorldNetDaily.”

Farah said the Wikipedia entries on WorldNetDaily and himself still contain voluminous untruths and are composed in extremely biased ways to cast the most negative light on the leading independent newssite and his personal work.

Wikipedia’s policy states, “Biographies of living persons must be written conservatively, with regard for the subject’s privacy. Wikipedia is an encyclopedia, not a tabloid paper; it is not our job to be sensationalist, or to be the primary vehicle for the spread of titillating claims about people’s lives.”

The online “free encyclopedia,” written and edited by its users, has been considered an unreliable source by teachers, authors, editors, patent examiners, librarians and researchers. As WND reported last year, an immigration judge came under fire after he based part of his ruling on a Wikipedia entry.

WND also reported last year when Wikipedia featured detailed photos of nude homosexual men engaging in sex acts and a variety of other sexually explicit images and content. At that time, Mark Pelligrini, regional representative for Wikipedia, told WND, “Wikipedia’s goal is to provide an encyclopedia that contains the sum of all human knowledge. To that end, Wikipedia does not censor objectionable material.”

In August 2009, Wikipedia announced it would seek to impose more discipline with restrictions on article editing.

According to the Associated Press, the website tested pages that “won’t register changes unless they are approved by an experienced Wikipedia editor.” The website claimed the new restrictions would apply to biographies of living people within a “few weeks” of testing.

However, dozens of apparently blatant, malicious edits have been made to profiles of Farah and WND since August.

Wikipedia has little criteria for “experienced editor” status – and allows anyone who has been registered for just a few days to approve changes, the Associated Press reported.

Meanwhile, a debate about controversial statements in the Farah and WND profiles has been raging at Wikipedia on its behind-the-scenes talk page. The website’s own editors have made the following comments:

• I just want to say that the article you had about him was defamatory. … It seems that when I look up right of center personalities there is always something extreme about them. But when I look up someone like “Al Franken” he is made out to be mainstream. This is unfair.

• Being a bisexual socialist, I can say with all certainty that I despise everything WND stands for. However, this article does seem a bit biased against him. I would normally expect people of his type to be fairly far-right, but this seems a bit extreme. Some sources would be appreciated, if you are able to get a hold of any.

• [C]harges of racism and extreme adherence to Republican agendas need to be documented before accusations can be leveled. When reading through Worldnetdaily.com, I found the articles to be as equally critical of President Bush as they are of other topics.

• This article is so obviously biased it is sickening, and this is coming from a staunch conservative. Unless somebody can submit a neutral article, this one should be deleted.

• It’s a tricky situation, and while the guy is probably basically a conspiracy theorist, in cases such as this, particularly when we have issues of BLP [biographies of living persons] and a history of potentially libelous problems with the article, it’s better to err on the side of caution.

• I heard he was gay. I tried to add this to the article, but it got reverted and I got warned. Could someone run down a reference on it and add it back to the article, please?

• Typical lefties at Wiki added every unsourced negative thing they could find to this article. Why don’t you guys go tell the truth on the [New York Times] article? Left and Jihadi-infested Wiki. How far you’ve fallen.

Note: Concerned individuals may contact the Wikimedia Foundation. Share your own Wikipedia horror stories in WND’s new forum.

Barack Obama’s Anti-Semitic Website

Posted on October 18, 2009. Filed under: General, Israel, Obama, Politics |

Keep in mind that Obama’s site is closely policed by moderators who are supposed to  remove material that they consider to be “disrespectful to our other users” and to “detract from a welcoming community where all people can engage in positive discourse.” So why is it that they take down completely benign stuff  by conservatives but leave all the anti-semitic stuff?? I think we know the answer to that!

Barack Obama’s Anti-Semitic Website

by Pamela Geller

During the 2008 presidential election, Barack Obama’s website, Organizing for America – over which Obama has editorial control — played host to a series of vile anti-American, Jew-hating posts and pieces. It was overwhelming. There were numerous, heinous calls for Jewish genocide and incitement to hatred. And it is happening again, right now, on the official website of the man who is supposedly the leader of the free world.

The site was and is closely policed. The site moderators remove material that they consider to be “disrespectful to our other users” and to “detract from a welcoming community where all people can engage in positive discourse.”

What they find disrespectful can be interesting: once during the campaign a conservative blogger, Bill Levinson, posted a blog on Obama’s website consisting entirely of a series of quotations from Obama’s own book, Dreams of my Father. Obama’s team did not approve of their standard-bearer’s words, and so Levinson’s blog and account were deleted from the Obama site in just under 36 hours. That’s right, Barack Obama’s website banned Obama’s own words. But the most disgusting anti-semitic ravings remained on the site, along with blogs advocating anarchy and the overthrow of the United States Congress.

In April 2008 a typical post appeared, claiming that “Jews owe Africa and Africans everything they have today because if Africa did not shelter them when they were homeless and starving, they would not be here today.” And in July 2008, a piece called “They fear peace” by Kate Smythe-Blake went up on Obama’s site. “The kike filth,” Smythe-Blake ranted, “are trying to steal this election from us. But this is our time. The kike live in fear of peace. They fear happiness. The thought of people living happily in peace without killing each other frightens the horde of kike that runs our government. But when pieces of kike use their kike manipulation tactics to stop Barack, it is time to strike back. There is nothing a kike army can do when faced with progressive people who are determined to achieve peace. We will achieve lasting peace.”

When such things went up on Obama’s website (and often stayed there for long periods), the Jewish lay leadership in this country said nothing, did nothing, and supported this man. Now he is President of the United States, and there is even more ugly Jew hatred and incitement to kill Jews on Obama’s website. It harks back to the Jewish blood libels. Obama’s website has become a hub for Islamic antisemitism.

On October 5, a post went up on Obama’s website entitled “Nazi Israel … Indeed.” It quoted a Princeton professor, Richard Falk, referring to Israel’s “war crimes”, “genocidal tendencies”, “holocaust implications”, and “holocaust-in-the-making.” It spoke about Israel’s “Nazi-like crimes and human rights violation.” It claimed: “Comparing the present-day Israel with Nazi Germany one discovers that the majority of the Israeli policies are the exact copies of the Nazi policies. Nazi Germany had invaded its European neighbors extending from England to Russia. Israel had also invaded all its neighboring countries; Egypt, Jordan, Syria, and Lebanon. It is also heavily involved in the invasion of Iraq and Afghanistan. Its tentacles had also reached African countries as far as South Africa, Somalia, Sudan, Angola, and Sierra Leone.”

Continuing the lies and blood libels, the post claims: “Worse than the Nazis Israeli forces used to invade peaceful Palestinian towns, execute men, women and children in cold blood everywhere and anywhere they encounter them, dynamite their homes on top of their residents, and finally demolish the whole town making room for new Israeli colonies.” It charges that Israel pursued “a pre-meditated genocidal plan” against the Palestinian Arabs.

Suffice to say that this entry passed muster with Obama’s moderators and is clearly acceptable to Obama for America.

Why hasn’t Obama stopped the terrible hate speech he was hosting on his site? This has been going on for well over a year. And it continues. He knows the anti-semites post these blood libels on his website. So why does he retain the platform as President of the United States? It’s evil. Why does he encourage it with his silence? Is Obama an anti-semite? By his fruits we shall know him, and so we know him
