Posted on March 31, 2010. Filed under: Conservatives, Liberal Idiots, Liberal Violence/Hate against Conservatives, Obama, Politicians, Politics |

I am so sick of hearing the MSM and the left LIE about conservative ‘violence’ and ‘hatred’. They LIE, LIE, LIE about us and then cover for their own side!! The left is much more prone to violence and hatred than the right, but the MSM tries to keep it quiet. So I decided to remind people of what the left has done and what they are capable of. Thanks to for the list.

Violent Liberal Hate Rhetoric: Fifteen Quotes

And they say we’re nasty????? Oh please…

Violent Liberal Hate Rhetoric: Fifteen Quotes

by John Hawkins

Editors’ Note: This column contains language some may find offensive.

In an effort to distract people from the destructive, illegitimate power-grab-of-a-bill masquerading as health care reform that the Democrats just passed over the objections of the American people, liberal members of Congress have spent days over-hyping threats against them. Of course, the sad reality is that EVERYONE who achieves any notoriety at all in this business gets death threats, but it’s only treated as noteworthy by the press when it happens to liberals. Had the exact same events that followed the health care debate happened to Republicans instead of Democrats, it wouldn’t have been a page one story in any major paper in the nation.

Meanwhile, if conservatives truthfully refer to Barack Obama as a socialist or encourage people to fight back against the takeover of 1/6 of our economy, we’re hysterically accused of inciting violence, while liberals who actually call for violence and publicly wish death upon conservatives are given a free pass.

Well today, that free pass has run out because people are going to get just a taste of the violent rhetoric that has been coming from the Left for years in this country. Conservatives have long since been willing to stand up and say that they oppose political violence and threats coming from our side – as well we should. So, when will Nancy Pelosi, Harry Reid, and Barack Obama finally stand up and condemn the ocean of violence and hatred being spewed by their friends, supporters and ideological allies?

 • “A spoiled child (Bush) is telling us our Social Security isn’t safe anymore, so he is going to fix it for us. Well, here’s your answer, you ungrateful whelp: http://sound%20of%204%20gunshots%20being%20fired. Just try it, you little b*stard. http://of%20gun%20being%20cocked.” — A “humor bit” from the Randi Rhodes Show

• “I want to go up to the closest white person and say: ‘You can’t understand this, it’s a black thing’ and then slap him, just for my mental health” — New York city councilman Charles Barron

• “..And then there’s Rumsfeld who said of Iraq ‘We have our good days and our bad days.’ We should put this S.O.B. up against a wall and say ‘This is one of our bad days’ and pull the trigger.” — From a fundraising ad put out by the St. Petersburg Democratic Club

• “I believe in ecoterrorism.” — James Cameron

• “…In an ideal world, American consumers could be convinced to do the right thing through an appeal to logic with public service messages like the ‘What Would Jesus Drive?’ TV campaign, but the kind of people who would buy a car that increases the risk to other motorists in an accident can’t be reasoned with. They’re selfish and stupid. It’s unfortunate that drivers must worry that their SUVs are being targeted by insulting stickers and Molotov cocktails, but one thing’s for sure: It couldn’t be happening to a more deserving group of people.” — Ted Rall winks at ecoterrorism

• “F*** God D*mned Joe the God D*mned Motherf*cking plumber! I want Motherf*cking Joe the plumber dead.” — Liberal talk show host Charles Karel Bouley on the air.

• “Republicans don’t believe in the imagination, partly because so few of them have one, but mostly because it gets in the way of their chosen work, which is to destroy the human race and the planet. Human beings, who have imaginations, can see a recipe for disaster in the making; Republicans, whose goal in life is to profit from disaster and who don’t give a hoot about human beings, either can’t or won’t. Which is why I personally think they should be exterminated before they cause any more harm.” — The Village Voice’s Michael Feingold, in a theater review of all places

• (Rush Limbaugh)” just wants the country to fail. To me that’s treason. He’s not saying anything different than what Osama Bin Laden is saying. You might want to look into this, sir, because I think Rush Limbaugh was the 20th hijacker but he was just so strung out on Oxycontin he missed his flight. … Rush Limbaugh, I hope the country fails, I hope his kidneys fail, how about that?” — Wanda Sykes

• “You guys see Live and Let Die, the great Bond film with Yaphet Kotto as the bad guy, Mr. Big? In the end they jam a big CO2 pellet in his face and he blew up. I have to tell you, Rush Limbaugh is looking more and more like Mr. Big, and at some point somebody’s going to jam a CO2 pellet into his head and he’s going to explode like a giant blimp. That day may come. Not yet. But we’ll be there to watch. I think he’s Mr. Big, I think Yaphet Kotto. Are you watching, Rush?” — Chris Matthews

• “I have zero doubt that if Dick Cheney was not in power, people wouldn’t be dying needlessly tomorrow….I’m just saying if he did die, other people, more people would live. That’s a fact.” — Bill Maher

• “For those of you who do, as a matter of principle, oppose war in any form, the idea of supporting a conscientious objector who’s already been inducted [and] in his combat service in Iraq might have a certain appeal. But let me ask you this: Would you render the same support to someone who hadn’t conscientiously objected, but rather instead rolled a grenade under their line officer in order to neutralize the combat capacity of their unit?” — University Professor Ward Churhill on supporting soldiers who frag their officers

• “Drudge? Aw, Drudge, somebody ought to wrap a strong Republican entrail around his neck and hoist him up about six feet in the air and watch him bounce.” — Liberal radio host, Mike Malloy

• “I know how the ‘tea party’ people feel, the anger, venom and bile that many of them showed during the recent House vote on health-care reform. N.Y. Times Columnist: Death Panels Will Save ‘a lot of money’

How very interesting…

N.Y. Times columnist: Death panels will save ‘a lot of money’

Paul Krugman tells ‘Roundtable’ economists agree it’s ‘going to be major’

Left-leaning New York Times economic columnist Paul Krugman says the so-called “death panels” established by President Obama’s trillion-dollar nationalized health-care plan will end up saving “a lot of money” for the government.

The comments from Krugman, who also writes on the New York Times blogs, came during a discussion of “Obamacare” on the ABC News Sunday program “This Week.”

“People on the right, they’re simultaneously screaming, ‘They’re going to send all the old people to death panels,’ and ‘It’s not going to save any money,'” he said.

Another panelist interjected, “Death panels would save money,” to which Krugman responded:

The advisory panel which has the ability to make more or less binding judgments on saying this particular expensive treatment actually doesn’t do any good medically and so we are not going to pay for it. That is actually going to save quite a lot of money. We don’t know how much yet. The CBO gives it very little credit but, but most, most of the health care economists I talk to think that’s going be a really, uh a really major cost saving.

The video has been posted on the Conservatives4Palin website, and it was Palin who was among the first to denounce the “death panel” concept in the Democrats’ government-run health care plan. That’s the idea that appointed government officials who under the plan will have access to medical records will determine if a treatment will be provided to a needy patient. Theoretically, that could be a death sentence for a patient denied a treatment.

In the United Kingdom and other nations where such government procedures already are in place, the survival rates for such afflictions as breast cancer or prostate cancer are lower than in the U.S. Critics say it is partly because of denial or delay of treatment. WND columnist Jane Chastain wrote about the issue shortly before the congressional vote.

“This bill sets up an Independent Medicare Advisory Board, which is to recommend cuts for the sole purpose of limiting the amount of resources going to Medicare patients. Some have called it a ‘Death Panel,'” she wrote.

“You may think this is harsh, but if this bill passes, many seniors will die prematurely because the recommendations of these unelected bureaucrats will go into effect. Congress is not required to act on them!”

“Obama … wants Granny to believe that she will be able to receive that operation or treatment that could save or extend her life. Nothing could be further from the truth! There is a reverse incentive in this bill that actually penalizes Granny’s primary-care physician if he or she is in the top 10 percent of doctors who refer patients to specialists. This puts a wedge between Granny and the doctor she trusts to act in her best interest.”

Richard Poe, a New York Times best-selling author, documented in a previous report for WND how the government’s plan to cut health-care costs will, in effect, cut health care itself for some.

“The only question is whose” health care will be cut, Poe wrote. “The numbers make clear that most of these cuts will have to come at the expense of those who need health care the most – the elderly, the disabled and the gravely ill.”

He cited Obama’s acknowledgement that “older, sicker societies pay more on health care than younger, healthier ones.”

“He is right,” Poe wrote. “According to a 2006 study by the Department of Health and Human Services, five percent of the U.S. population accounts for nearly 50 percent of health care spending in America. Who are those five percent? Most are people over 65 years of age with serious, chronic illnesses.

“By contrast, the study notes, half of the U.S. population ‘spends little or nothing on health care… with annual medical spending below $664 per person.’ These, of course, are mostly healthy young people – people without serious, chronic illnesses,” Poe wrote.

“Obviously, Obama will not meet his cost-cutting targets by reducing care to healthy young people. They are already spending next to nothing. It is the old, the dying and the chronically ill whose health care he will cut. The numbers make this clear,” Poe said.

Some of the “old, the dying and the chronically ill” appear to be catching on. According to a report from Fox News, an estimated 60,000 members of AARP, which endorsed “Obamacare,” have turned in their cards and canceled their memberships in recent weeks.

Poe elaborated on his concerns about the president’s plan.

“How will Obama cut costs? His June 13 radio speech gave some hints. Obama said his plan would provide ‘incentives’ to doctors to ‘avoid unnecessary hospital stays, treatments and tests that drive up costs,'” Poe wrote.

“And what sort of treatment does Obama consider ‘unnecessary?’ In an ABC News special June 24, he implied medical treatment might be wasted on elderly people with grave illnesses, citing his own grandmother as an example,” he said.

Obama concluded, “Maybe you’re better off not having the surgery, but taking the painkiller.”

Poe also documented how such health care limits already are being used overseas, including the U.K., where “British elders are routinely denied treatment for cancer, heart disease and other deadly illnesses.”

Further, “death” boards already are operating in Oregon, where officials with the state Health Plan agreed to refuse a patient life-extending cancer drugs but volunteered to pay for her to commit suicide.

He reported Barbara Wagner of Springfield, Ore., was diagnosed with lung cancer in 2005. Chemotherapy and radiation put her cancer into remission. But the cancer returned in May 2008.

Wagner’s doctor prescribed Tarceva, a pill which slows cancer growth. There was a good chance it might extend her life by a few weeks or even months.

At age 64, Wagner had two sons, three daughters, 15 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. Every moment she could spend with her loved ones was precious, he noted.

But Oregon’s health officials nixed the plan. Her Tarceva treatment would cost $4,000 per month. Wagner was going to die anyway, so why waste the money?

Wagner received a letter stating that the Oregon Health Plan would not approve any treatment for her “that is meant to prolong life, or change the course of the disease. …” However, if Wagner opted for physician-assisted suicide, Oregon would be happy to pick up the tab, said the letter.

Physician-assisted suicide is legal in Oregon and costs only about $50.

An Open Letter to the Evil Tyrants in Washington

By Gina Miller on March 28th, 2010

Gina Miller

To Mr. Obama, Mr. Reid, Mrs. Pelosi and your fellow travelers:

I write this for countless millions of Americans. We know who you are. We know what you are doing. We know your hatred for us–for America. You are traitors. You are the enemy within.

You and your ilk have been creeping into our institutions for much of the last century. You have crawled into our schools, polluted our colleges, and for most of the past thirty or more years have poisoned the minds of untold numbers of children and young adults, and you have deliberately lowered the educational standards to create a class of dumbed-down kids, while you continuously scream for “more money for education!” Now, you will use many young people of our country as unwitting tools to be your personal army, your Gestapo.

You have slithered onto our court benches, and you have nested in law offices all across our country. You have worked tirelessly to pervert and overthrow the laws of our land and our Constitution. You have fought for and gained public offices at all levels.

You hid your evil intentions, except among yourselves, and you took advantage of the trust of the American people who did not see the dangerous plans you had spawned for our great Republic. Over the decades of the last century, you positioned yourselves, quietly amassing your power.

Now, you see your wicked dreams of a century within your grasp. You took the Congress, and now you have taken the White House. Since January of 2009, you have set a wrecking ball to our nation. You have highjacked financial institutions, taken over private companies, and signed executive orders that fly in the face of the will of the people. You have determined that foreign, terrorist, enemy combatants of our country should have the same rights as American citizens and should be tried in our civilian courts. You have done things that previous administrations have not dared.

As for you, Mr. Obama, you have, to our utter disgust, shamefully treated our closest allies, but like a detestable serf, you have bowed to the enemies of America. Your treatment of Israel and Prime Minister Netanyahu is despicable, and if nothing else does, that will certainly bring the curse of the Lord down upon your head. You are the enemy of America, Mr. Obama. You are drunk on the wine of Babylon–as are your fellow travelers in power–and your arrogance will be your downfall.

Japanese Admiral Isoroku Yamamoto, who said after his attack on Pearl Harbor: “I fear all we have done is to awaken a sleeping giant and fill him with a terrible resolve.”

Now, you all have secured your most powerful victory to date–the takeover of our healthcare system. It is, so far, the most egregious decree you have enacted against our country, and against the will of the people. You intend to destroy our healthcare system, including the insurance companies. This is designed to “control the people,” as Mr. Dingell so honestly stated.

You are fully aware that the vast majority of Americans want nothing to do with this legislation. You don’t care, because yours is a dictatorship. You hold the will of the people in contempt, and your infernal media machine works night and day to demonize those of us who oppose you.

You are doing everything you can to outrage us and tear our country apart. You are ready to push amnesty for illegal aliens to dilute our vote. You are ready to ram through the lying, global warming, cap and trade legislation that will plunge us deeper into poverty, which is your goal. You want to destroy the prosperity of America, that is dwindling as it stands. You want to take away all of our freedom and make us slaves to you.

You are trying to set us up to give you an excuse to declare martial law and suspend elections. If you are unable to provoke us into committing rash acts against you, it is entirely possible that you, through your henchmen, will stage a Reichstag Fire, thereby giving you “cause” to shut us down and jail those of us who oppose you and your evil schemes.

Honest elections are your enemy, and you cannot allow them to happen. Your army of ACORN-type, useful idiots will still be there to cheat and steal all the votes they can, but we will not forget all that you’ve done, and we will fight you at the ballot box and in the realm of ideas.

Mr. Obama, we know that it will not be easy to defeat you. This week, Pastor James David Manning declared that you are the most powerful man in the history of the world. I believe he is right. The power that you have, which is a supernatural power, comes from your father the devil. As he is the father of lies, so too, there is no truth in you. You have no soul nor heart, and you are a man without a country.

You and your administration could be the ghouls from “Night of the Living Dead,” played out in the original black and white (No, you media mad hatters, that’s not a “racial” reference. It refers to Romero’s 1968 film). And, what a terrible picture you make, feeding on the lifeblood our our country!

Some have said this administration is incompetent or stupid; we know that is not the case. You are very cunning, and your ancient plans are firmly set. You may very well be the undoing of our nation. Nevertheless, we will resist you all the way. We will not surrender our country to your vile plans. You might conquer us in the end, but you will have the fight of your lives taking us down. Don’t doubt it for a minute.

In the meantime, we will stay wide awake–no more sleeping for this giant. We will continue talking to each other, making sure we’re all aware of your wicked moves. We will continue to organize and grow stronger. We will continue to fight your legislation.

In all of this, one thing separates us from you. We have hope–true hope. Our hope is in God. Our hope lies in eternity, and unless you trade your heart of stone for the heart of God, you will receive your reward in full here in this life, and an eternity of hell in the next. Your plans may ultimately succeed, and you will believe you have the victory, but it will be a false victory, temporal and short-lived. When you finally have the world under your cruel, iron fist, it will suddenly be snatched away from you in a single day, and your defeat will be absolute. You will not stand in the Day of the Lord. His fiery wrath will descend without warning and will consume you. Woe to you, kings of the earth.

Hope and Change…the Constitution

Posted on March 25, 2010. Filed under: Healthcare, Nanny State, Obama, Obama Corruption, Politics, Socialism/Communism |

Excellent article!! Obama, the Dems, and the liberal courts are ‘interpreting’ (twisting) the constitution to fit whatever they want, therefore we need to make sure the constitution is VERY CLEAR, so let’s call for a constitutional convention and set things in stone even more than they are!

Hope and Change … the Constitution

by Larry Elder

We live in a fundamentally different country from that which existed only days ago. The government now requires that every American purchase health insurance. The Constitution has been attacked, interpreted in a way beyond its original intent. Therefore, we must change it.

Ignoring the will of the majority of the American people, the discouraging experiences of countries with socialized medicine, and the already staggering amount of entitlement debt, President Barack Obama and the congressional Democrats “reformed” health care. Once a nation under a Constitution that restricted government intrusion, we now want government to provide for our “needs” by calling them “rights.”

We now ask government to prop up failing businesses, make student loans, guarantee mortgages, build and maintain public housing, financially support state education from preschool though graduate school, fund private research, provide disaster relief and aid, pay “volunteers” and on and on.

Many in our nation happily submit to this bargain. They consider the Big Three entitlements — Social Security, Medicare and Medicaid — “rights,” their absence unimaginable in a modern “caring” society. It is out of the question to expect people, families and communities to plan for retirement. It is beyond reason to expect medical care, like any other commodity, to follow the laws of supply and demand — for prices and choices to allocate resources and for competition to drive down prices and improve quality. It is simply too much to expect the compassion, morality and spirituality of humankind to aid those unable to care for themselves.

We ignore history’s numerous examples of how good intentions produce bad results. Almost 50 years ago, another “transformative” president used government to launch a War on Poverty. But for many welfare recipients and their families, poverty became “structural.” People became dependent on government. After the government finally placed some restrictions on welfare, dependency declined. Much to the surprise of those who denounced welfare reform as cruel, people changed their behavior.

We ignore the experience of price controls. Government can dictate prices, but cannot dictate costs. Price controls result in rationing, drive producers out of business and cause lower quality and less innovation. America, because its citizens enjoyed greater economic freedom, built a superior health care system — which ObamaCare now threatens to dismantle.

Communism collapsed under the romantic but bankrupt notion of “from each according to his abilities, to each according to his needs.” Taking from the productive and giving to the unproductive does damage to the incentive of both parties. European countries — “social justice” democracies — produce comparatively few private-sector jobs. Europe suffers from high taxes, choking union agreements that make it virtually impossible to fire unproductive or unneeded workers, and government policies that mandate paid vacations and other job-killing benefits.

Into this statist abyss we willingly jump.

Former Democratic presidential candidate George McGovern left the Senate after 18 years and bought a small business. It went under. He wrote:

“(I) wish I had known more firsthand about the concerns and problems of American businesspeople while I was a U.S. senator and later a presidential nominee. … Legislators and government regulators must more carefully consider the economic and management burdens we have been imposing on U.S. businesses. … Many businesses … simply can’t pass such costs on to their customers and remain competitive or profitable.”

President Obama, like many members of Congress, has little experience in or understanding of the private free-market economy. Obama never started a business, ran one or struggled to meet a payroll. He shows little respect for the hard, long hours people put in to build successful businesses that compete to provide goods and services to customers and that hire people. He believes that unequal outcomes are unjust and that government exists to right this wrong by “spreading the wealth.”

If this means telling doctors how to practice, so what? If this means that people will be less likely to improve themselves through education and training in order to get “good” jobs with benefits, so what? If this means we make employers less likely to hire for fear of fines should they fail to offer health insurance, so what? And if the “wealthy” invest less and create fewer jobs because of higher taxes and expensive regulations, so what?

Now what? As many as 39 state legislatures have taken or will take action to block the mandate. Thirteen state attorneys general immediately filed suit, arguing, among other things, that ObamaCare’s insurance mandate violates the Constitution’s commerce clause. Expect more states to sue. Unfortunately, the Supreme Court broadly interprets the commerce clause — wildly beyond the intent of the Founders — to allow just about anything.

So, the Constitution must be changed. It must be amended to make what was once clear absolutely, positively, unavoidably clear. Two-thirds of the states can call for a constitutional convention, where an amendment can be proposed to prohibit the forced purchase of health insurance. Three-fourths of the states could then ratify it.

Implausible? So was ObamaCare.

Obama’s Anti-Israel Behavior: Snubbed Netanyahu

Obama is an anti-Israel bigot. He treats our enemies with respect and our allies with contempt. His arrogance knows no bounds!

Obama snubbed Netanyahu for dinner with Michelle and the girls, Israelis claim

By Adrian Blomfield in Jerusalem

25 Mar 2010

Benjamin Netanyahu was left to stew in a White House meeting room for over an hour after President Barack Obama abruptly walked out of tense talks to have supper with his family, it emerged on Thursday.

The snub marked a fresh low in US-Israeli relations and appeared designed to show Mr Netanyahu how low his stock had fallen in Washington after he refused to back down in a row over Jewish construction in east Jerusalem.

The Israeli prime minister arrived at the White House on Tuesday evening brimming with confidence that the worst of the crisis in his country’s relationship with the United States was over.

Over the previous two days, he had been feted by senior Republicans and greeted warmly by members of Congress. He had also received a standing ovation from the American Israel Public Affairs Affairs Committee, one of the most influential lobby groups in the United States.

But Mr Obama was less inclined to be so conciliatory. He immediately presented Mr Netanyahu with a list of 13 demands designed both to the end the feud with his administration and to build Palestinian confidence ahead of the resumption of peace talks. Key among those demands was a previously-made call to halt all new settlement construction in east Jerusalem.

When the Israeli prime minister stalled, Mr Obama rose from his seat declaring: “I’m going to the residential wing to have dinner with Michelle and the girls.”

As he left, Mr Netanyahu was told to consider the error of his ways. “I’m still around,” Mr Obama is quoted by Israel’s Yediot Ahronot newspaper as having said. “Let me know if there is anything new.”

For over an hour, Mr Netanyahu and his aides closeted themselves in the Roosevelt Room on the first floor of the White House to map out a response to the president’s demands.

Although the two men then met again, at 8.20 pm, for a brief second meeting, it appeared that they failed to break the impasse. White House officials were quoted as saying that disagreements remained. Shimon Peres, the Israeli president, added: “Apparently they did not reach an understanding with the United States.”

It was the second time this month that Mr Netanyahu has been at the receiving end of a US dinner-time snub.

A fortnight ago, Joe Biden the US vice president, arrived 90 minutes late for a dinner Mr Netanyahu hosted in Jerusalem after Israel announced plans to build 1,600 new homes in Ramat Shlomo, a Jewish settlement in the city’s predominantly Arab east.

Erupting in fury, the United States described the decision to expand Ramat Shlomo as an “insult” that undermined Mr Biden’s peace making efforts and demanded that it be reversed. Palestinians see east Jerusalem, captured by Israel during the 1967 Six Day War, as their future capital and regard any Jewish building there as a barrier to a peace settlement.

Mr Obama’s mood further soured in the minutes before his meeting with Mr Netanyahu after it emerged that approval had been given for an even more contentious Jewish building project in the heart of one of east Jerusalem’s Palestinian suburbs.

Sending a clear message of his displeasure, Mr Obama treated his guest to a series of slights. Photographs of the meeting were forbidden and an Israeli request to issue a joint-statement once it was over were turned down.

“There is no humiliation exercise that the Americans did not try on the prime minister and his entourage,” Israel’s Maariv newspaper reported. “Bibi received in the White House the treatment reserved for the president of Equatorial Guinea.”

It is not the first time that Mr Netanyahu has been involved in a dinner-time snub, although he is arguably more used to delivering, rather than receiving, them.

In 1998, during his first term as Israeli prime minister, Mr Netanyahy angrily cancelled a dinner he was due to give with the then Foreign Secretary, Robin Cook.

Mr Cook had earned his host’s ire after he briefly visited a new Jewish settlement in east Jerusalem with a Palestinian official and called for an end to all settlement construction in the parts of the city Israel occupied after the Six-Day war.

Game Over…What Happens Next with Healthcare?

Posted on March 23, 2010. Filed under: General, Healthcare, Socialism/Communism |

Here’s what we’re gonna get now that Obamacare has been passed. God help us all! We must get it repealed!!!

By Neal Boortz @ March 22, 2010 9:04

Well, they did it. They rammed it through. Nancy Pelosi knew what she had to do. Keep her members in Washington … keep them away from angry constituents until they were ready to do her will. The polls clearly showed that the people in this country didn’t want it .. but the door has, as Nancy Pelosi says, been “kicked in” and we are well on our way to nationalized medicine … socialized medicine … call it what you will, but we’re on our way to a society where each and every one of us will be dependent on the government – on politicians and unelected bureaucratic hacks – for our healthcare.

This will be somewhat of a “stream of consciousness” effort … but here’s the way I see this playing out over the coming years.

Taxes, of course, go up immediately. How much in new taxes? Try one trillion dollars. A huge portion of these taxes will hit America’s small businesses … our jobs creation machine. There will be increases in Social Security Taxes and Medicare taxes. There will be new taxes for something called CLASS … a long term in-home health care program. Then there will be a new 3.8% (What the hell … call it 4%) tax on investment income. Just what our economy needed at a time when unemployment is rampant … new taxes on the very sector of our economy that creates jobs.

Businesses will hunker down even more than they have been. Business planning is a long-term affair .. and businessmen will know that in a few years 50 will be the magic number when it comes to government health insurance mandates; and this includes part-time employees. So you will see businesses with just over 50 employees starting to cut back. People will lose their jobs so that the business can stay under the threshold. New business start-ups will alter business plans to make sure that they don’t meet or cross that threshold when the mandates kick in.

Younger Americans with health insurance will drop their policies. Sure, they know that they will have to pay a penalty when they file their taxes, but that penalty will be much less than the cost of a health insurance policy … costs that will be going up. Besides … because insurance companies can no longer discriminate against people with preexisting conditions, there is absolutely no reason in the world to go out there and buy an insurance policy until you really become ill.

Since health young Americans will be dropping insurance, or staying out of the market if they never had insurance in the first place, the insurance companies will find more and more that their customers are among the unhealthiest of Americans. This means more benefits paid, of course, which will result in higher premiums. What’s more, there will no longer be a lifetime cap on benefits. Even a government-educated ObamaSycophant could understand that this, too, will lead to increased premiums. But wait! There’s more! Children will be able to stay on their parent’s policies until age 26. What does this mean? Increased payouts on their parent’s policies. How can you not see where this is all going?

Let’s just take a quick look at what happened to Anthem .. a health insurance company in California. Recently Anthem hiked its insurance premiums by … what? Something like 38 or 40%. You could hear the screaming all the way to Nancy Pelosi’s office. But did anyone try to figure out just why Anthem had to increase premiums? Here’s your explanation. California brought millions of citizens into its own state version of Medicaid. These millions of people started swarming into hospitals and to doctors for their “free” medical care. Trouble is, California also cut back on payments to health care providers at the same time. The health care providers then shifted their costs over to actual paying customers … customers insured by Anthem. There go the premiums.

With so many more people added to the insurance rolls – people who are not paying for their policies out of their own pockets – there will be a huge increase in people seeking medical care they don’t really need. Just check Boca Raton, Florida and the Medicare recipients down there. Do you remember the investigative report which showed the Boca Medicare crowd treated their weekly doctor’s visits as a part of their social life? They didn’t necessarily need care, they just wanted to see their friends and the doctor’s waiting room was the meeting place. Now that each and every American will have a medical care entitlement, not just the Boca Biddies, you can look for a huge increase in the demand for medical services. And guess what? This huge demand will hit at a time when doctors are deciding to hang it up. They didn’t sign on to work for the government, and the passage of ObamaCare is their signal to start making their escape plans.

As the demand for medical services increases exponentially, the money to pay for those services will dry up, even with the increased taxes. The inevitable result, then, will be the rationing of health care. There are no words to adequately describe the base ignorance and stupidity of any American who does not realize that rationing is on the way.

As health insurance premiums rise – as people start clogging doctors offices – as the quality of care gradually declines – there will be more and more cries from the dumb masses for the government to “do something.” The political class will be ready to do something all right. Politicians will start telling the dumb masses that the private insurance companies have shown themselves not to be up to the task. They were given the chance, and they blew it. So now it’s time for the government option … its time for the government to offer its own health insurance product.

The new cure-all – the so-called “public option” – will not have any of the constraints placed on it that private insurance companies have to deal with. The government insurance plan will be able to draw from an inexhaustible supply of government grants and bailouts. Instead of raising premiums to cover benefits, the government plan will simply borrow more and more money. Net result: Slowly but surely government competition will force private insurance out of the marketplace. You simply cannot compete with an entity that can lose hundreds of millions of dollars a year without ever having to go into bankruptcy.

Politicians have always known that the government option would work this way. It has never been anything less than a method to be used to destroy the private health insurance marketplace. What’s next? The magic Democrat wet dream … “single payer.”

Single payer simply means that one entity will write all the checks. Whether it’s for a doctor’s visit, a prescription, physical therapy … whatever, the payments come from one source, and that source is the government. If the government is the only entity that is legally permitted to render payment for health care services … then that puts the government in complete and absolute control of all healthcare. If you don’t think that the person who controls your healthcare controls YOU … then you’ve never been really, really sick.

The Truth About Progressives – aka Marxists

This is an excellent article!! I wish everyone would realize the truth in it!!

The Truth About Progressives – aka Marxists

By JB Williams Tuesday, March 16, 2010

Canada Free Press

To fully understand the progressive movement and their current rush to grab one-sixth of the US economy via unconstitutional federal health care mandates, one must follow the trail that leads from the Maoist Movement of the 60s that started in Berkley California, and the Marxist Movement that has culminated in the joint venture between the Communist Party USA and Socialist Party USA, today’s Democratic Socialists of America.

You do not have to believe what I tell you in this column. But if you study the sources linked in this column, no reasonable mind can come to any other conclusion. Information is power. If most Americans were aware of all that is presented in this column, they would know exactly what to do to save their Constitutional Republic, while they still can.

Today’s US Congress is controlled by two Democratic Socialists of America (DSAUSA) organizations, the Congressional Black Caucus and the Congressional Progressive Caucus.

The DSAUSA explains it very clearly in their publication, What is Democratic Socialism—

“We are not a separate party. Like our friends and allies in the feminist, labor, civil rights, religious, and community organizing movements, many of us have been active in the Democratic Party. We work with those movements to strengthen the party’s left wing, represented by the Congressional Progressive Caucus.”

They explain their primary methods as well—in the spirit of Joseph Stalin—“Education is a weapon whose effects depend on who holds it in his hands and at whom it is aimed.”

“Since the Civil Rights movement of the 1950s, young people have played a critical role in American politics. They have been a tremendous force for both political and cultural change in this country: in limiting the US’s options in the war in Vietnam, in forcing corporations to divest from the racist South African regime, in reforming universities, and in bringing issues of sexual orientation and gender discrimination to public attention. Though none of these struggles were fought by young people alone, they all featured youth as leaders in multi-generational progressive coalitions. Young people are needed in today’s struggles as well: for universal health care and stronger unions, against welfare cuts and predatory multinational corporations.”

Vladimir Lenin explained why the political left always targets young minds in the pursuit of the leftist agenda, – “Give me four years to teach the children and the seed I have sown will never be uprooted.”

And so it is in America today. What our children understand to be “progressive,” the older generations know to be socialism, communism, Marxism and most accurately, totalitarianism. Young people have been taught to call it “social justice,” the central governments power to control individual outcomes regardless of individual productivity, or as Karl Marx put it, – “to take from each according to his abilities, and give to each according to his needs.” This is the fundamental basis of Marxism, “social justice” and today’s progressive ideal.

From March 19 – 21, 2010, like-minded leftist organizations from all over the world will hold their annual conference at Pace University in New York City. From the Left Forum About Us page—“Each spring Left Forum convenes the largest gathering in North America of the US and international Left. Continuing a tradition begun in the 1960s, we bring together intellectuals and organizers to share perspectives, strategies, experience and vision.”

This year’s Left Forum event is titled – Rekindling the Radical Imagination and it opens with grave concerns about the movement, which explains the desperation in progressive leaders like Obama, Pelosi and Reid, as they risk all to advance a health care bill that hasn’t even been written yet—

“The ongoing capitalist crisis generated high hopes that the parties and social movements of the Left, both in the U.S. and elsewhere in the world, would be re-energized. So far this has not happened. The Left remains fractured and confused, drifting away from its labor base, while the Right seems to have emerged as the stronger or at least the more strident force.”

The leftist Obama Administration is under heavy fire from those who put him in power, the international left.

Constitutional conservatives opposed Obammunism in 2008 are even more opposed in 2010. Moderates who fell for Obama’s centrist sounding campaign have since awakened, and turned against him. But his record low approval rating and that of the DSAUSA led congress, dips well below the mark of the constitutional American majority.

Their low approval ratings include increasing anger from hardcore leftists who expected Obama to ram through their agenda by any means necessary, even if 95% of Americans stood opposed.

Today’s Democrat Party is NOT run by Democrats, or even Liberals. It is run by Democratic Socialists, aka progressives.

Following the advice of Karl Marx who said, “Democracy is the road to socialism.”—Progressives tricked Americans into voting socialists into power, and every time someone challenges their socialist agenda, they proclaim, “the election is over, we won!”

In other words, the 2008 election gives them the right to run roughshod over the vast majority of Americans, because they won the election fair and square, and as Democrats, they believe in the very ideology that Thomas Jefferson warned against—“A democracy is nothing more than mob rule, where fifty-one percent of the people may take away the rights of the other forty-nine.”

On this basis, progressives (aka Marxists) believe that they were elected to power for the purpose of ushering in global socialism and they couldn’t care less how many Americans stand opposed. They won the election and that’s that!

As long as Americans think they are debating with Democrats or liberals, they are no match for the international socialist juggernaut they are up against.

In a recent column I asked, – Is the Constitution a Partisan Document?

Over the years, I have known many republicans, democrats and independents that love and revere the US Constitution, our Bill of Rights and the Declaration of Independence. But today, these ideas are under attack from within the halls of our own government and that’s what the anger at town hall meetings is all about. That’s what the 912 and Tea Party movements are about…

And, the fight for the future of freedom rests in the vote over nationalized health care about to be rammed down every American throat this week.

The Health Care debate is NOT over health care, it’s all about FREEDOM versus unbridled federal power.

Every sane American knows that there are things that can and should be done to improve health care in America. But we also know that handing health care over to the very people who have bankrupted every federal program under the sun is beyond insane.

The debate isn’t over health care. It’s over the federal government’s need to confiscate one-sixth of the US economy and gain control over life and death in one fast sweep.

If the American people fail to stand together and defeat this one government grab, they will have doomed themselves to a life of servitude for generations to come.

These are NOT your grandparents’ Democrats. Know thy enemy, or suffer defeat…

Mark Levin: We Will Sue Over Health-Care Trick

Mark Levin: We will sue over health-care trick

Action prepared to be filed ‘the moment the House acts’

© 2010 WorldNetDaily

A lawsuit has been prepared by the Landmark Legal Foundation to be filed immediately – if members of the U.S. House use a trick that has been dubbed the “Slaughter rule” to advance President Obama’s vision of government-run health care in the United States.

The action was announced today by Mark R. Levin, attorney, top radio talker and president of the foundation, who said the use of the so-called “deem and pass,” “self-executing,” or “Slaughter rule” to enact H.R. 3590 would result in an instant legal challenge.

“If this tactic is employed, Landmark will immediately sue the president, Attorney General Eric Holder and other relevant cabinet members to prevent them from instituting this unconstitutional contrivance,” the announcement said.

The law firm, in fact, already has posted a draft of its legal challenge online.

The plan, which has found favor with House Speaker Nancy Pelosi because “people won’t have to vote on the Senate bill,” would allow the U.S. House to simply “deem” the Senate proposal approved in the House without an up-or-down vote on the plan.

As prepared, the lawsuit alleges that Congress and the president “are presently intending to transgress the requirements of the U.S. Constitution, rendering the liberty of United States citizens at stake.”

“The conduct of the House of Representatives and the president of the United States violates plaintiffs’ Fifth Amendment rights under the United States Constitution, which provides that ‘No person shall be . . . deprived of life, liberty, or property, without due process of law…

“Under color of law, the defendants intend to collect taxes, remove and replace insurance benefits, and re-write health insurance contracts affecting plaintiffs and Landmark’s employees. The Senate bill enacts broad and encompassing regulation of health care in this country. It changes the law and places new regulatory and tax burdens on millions of Americans, including large and small entities of which Landmark is one as a not-for-profit organization,” it alleges.

“Because the House violated the Constitution by never voting on the Senate bill, the Senate bill cannot be and is not a law of the United States. Defendants, charged by law and the Constitution with enforcing the law, must be prevented from treating the Senate bill as a law of the United States. Any signature by the president is a nullity, and the piece of paper he has stated that he will sign or has signed is nothing more than that: a piece of paper,” it continues.

Levin, who also hosts the top-rated Mark Levin Show, said the lawsuit will be filed “the moment the House acts.”

“Such a brazen violation of the core functions of Congress simply cannot be ignored. Article I, Section 7 of the Constitution is clear respecting the manner in which a bill becomes law. Members are required to vote on this bill, not claim they did when they didn’t. The speaker of the House and her lieutenants are temporary custodians of congressional authority. They are not empowered to do permanent violence to our Constitution,” he said.

Founded in 1976, the Landmark Legal Foundation is a nonprofit, public interest law firm with offices in Kansas City and Virginia.

The prepared document cites the “Bicameralism and Presentment Clause of the Constitution of the United States” which requires that “Every bill which shall have passed the House of Representatives and the Senate, shall, before it becomes a law, be presented to the president of the United States.”

That means each house of Congress must vote on the same text, the document further explains.

But the House Rules Committee this month suggested a “rule” to the full House that would allow “certain legislation” to be considered by the House.

“The rule provided that, upon adoption by the House on a vote of the yeas and nays of one bill (the ‘Reconciliation Bill’), an entirely different bill, H.R. 3590 (the ‘Senate Bill’) would be ‘deemed approved’ by the House,” the case alleges.

“The constitutionally protected liberty interests of the American public are at risk because the Senate Bill undermines investments in contracts which must be re-written, taxes health insurance plans into the future which businesses must account for immediately, employees may be terminated, and myriad business relationships and investments may be undermined by the contents and through the enforcement of various provisions in the 2,000-plus page Senate Bill, which was formed from concentrated power in the Senate and not through the extension of the will of the people in the House of Representatives,” the case alleges.

It also warns that if the courts do not act, “then the House and Senate will be free to adopt any such procedures in the future, assured that they will be immune from judicial review under any and all circumstances.”

A separate legal challenge already has been filed against the White House over its “backroom deals” that have led to the president’s plan for nationalized health care.

Larry Klayman, a legal firebrand whose work fighting government corruption left both Bill Clinton and Dick Cheney on the defensive, has a lawsuit pending over the president’s secret meetings with Planned Parenthood and other lobbyists.

Klayman, who founded Judicial Watch and, more recently, Freedom Watch USA, has a case in U.S. District Court in Washington, D.C., seeking information from Obama under the Federal Advisory Committee Act, which requires disclosure of records of meetings between the executive branch and outside industry lobbyists. The law also requires access to meetings.

Klayman’s case contends the president’s conduct falls within the scope of the act that “requires the president to come clean on why he has caved in to the pharmaceutical industry, preventing the importation of prescription drugs that would lower prices for consumers, why he has become the lackey of Planned Parenthood in championing government financed abortions, and why the AMA (American Medical Association) and AARP (American Association of Retired Persons) are now his great friends.”

Klayman’s case targets “the particulars behind the secret deals the White House has been cutting with private health care concerns, such as the AMA, Pharma, Planned Parenthood, AARP, and other lobbyists seeking to feed at the trough of the government.”

“Freedom Watch will not rest until the American people know all the facts about this historic and ill advised health care legislation, which most Americans – be they conservative, middle of the road or liberal – think we cannot afford and do not want as it is written,” he said when the case was launched.

WND also reported when Liberty Counsel, run by attorney Mathew Staver, confirmed his organization is preparing to challenge in court the constitutionality of “Obamacare.”

“Congress has no authority to require every person to obtain insurance coverage and has no authority to fine employers who do not provide the coverage standards that are required in the bill,” he said at the time.

“In addition,” he warned, “the bill still requires citizens to pay a fine if they don’t maintain insurance for themselves and their families.”

Democrats Use Skullduggery to Pass Health Care Bill

Democrats Use Skullduggery to Pass Health Care Bill

WASHINGTON — In a last-ditch scheme in defiance of the Constitution, House Speaker Nancy Pelosi and her Democratic accomplices plan to send the Senate health care bill to President Obama without a clean, up-or-down vote on its merits.

As Democratic leaders struggled to find 216 votes to pass the bill by a majority vote, as required under the enacting procedures set forth in the Constitution, their fallback was a nefarious plan whereby the House would “deem” the legislation as passed so that vulnerable Democrats would not have to cast a recorded vote on the hugely unpopular bill.

“Last year, the House was passing bills without reading them. This year, they’re passing bills without voting on them,” former House Speaker Newt Gingrich said last week.

After more than a year of legislative combat over a bill that will effectively put a massive new government bureaucracy fully in charge of the nation’s private health care system — and impose a raft of new taxes on Americans, businesses and the economy — Democrats had reached a stalemate that threatened to kill the centerpiece of Obama’s presidency. Their problem: the Constitution’s vexing requirement for a majority vote to enact bills into law.

Then Pelosi and her friends came up with an idea to get around the Constitution. The complicated maneuver, which has been in the planning stages for weeks, has received little or no detailed attention in the network nightly news shows and Democrats are happy about that. Perhaps the less the American people know about the Democrats’ run around the Constitution, the better it is for Democrats and their plans for an unprecedented expansion of the government.

“It’s more insider and process-oriented than most people want to know. But I like it, because people don’t have to vote on the Senate bill,” Pelosi told bloggers in a roundtable discussion Monday.

In a nutshell, Pelosi Democrats have decided to ram the Senate’s 2,700 page, $1 trillion bill through the House under a shady tactic that has never been used on major pieces of legislation, known as a “self-executing rule” or a “deem and pass.”

The House Rules Committee will deliberate the Senate bill, along with a package of amendments that fixes whatever Democrats don’t like about it. The House will vote on the committee’s rules of procedure and it will be deemed to have passed the Senate bill. Then it will take up the so-called fixes and send them to the Senate. It’s a high-risk gamble by the House because there is no assurance the Senate will pass them, but by then it won’t matter because Obama will have signed his health care bill into law.

Will this pass Constitutional muster? That question will most likely end up before the Supreme Court.

Article 1, Section 7 of the Constitution, which sets forth the rules under which every bill is passed, is crystal clear about how laws are made in this country, even if Pelosi and her gang are not.

Section 7 clearly states, “in all such cases the votes of both houses shall be determined by yeas and nays, and the names of the persons voting for and against the bill shall be entered on the journal of each house respectively.”

In other words, no legislation can be considered passed without a recorded vote of the members of each chamber. There are no “deemed to have passed” or “self-executing” legislative maneuvers in the Constitution.

Moreover, the Supreme Court has ruled on this issue before, so there are precedents in case law, according to Republican staffers who have been researching this. They point to a 1998 ruling by the high court that said each house of Congress must approve the exact same text of the bill being considered before it can be signed into law by the president. Any changes in that bill require that it be sent back to the other house for its concurrence or rejection.

Do the fix-it amendments attached to the legislative plan to approve the Senate bill effectively change the bill being sent to the president? Is this evasive Democratic maneuver too clever by half? These are questions the Supreme Court will be asked to answer if House Democrats go through with their attempts to sidestep the Constitution.

Meanwhile, health care analyst Grace Marie Turner reminds everyone of “one simple fact behind all these bizarre contortions of the legislative process: The House completely distrusts the Senate.” Will the Senate pass the House fixes under reconciliation, or will the hundreds of amendments prepared by Senate Republicans make that expectation highly unlikely?

But in the end, the American people will not be fooled by this flimflam maneuver. House Democrats will have to vote on the rule before they can take up this legislative bag of tricks, and everyone will know who voted to circumvent the democratic process.
